Our Little Wymount Apartment

Here are some pictures of our APT!!! not the best quality... and it's a bit messy but heck... i'm sick so it can be a bit dirty for a few days :)

Vanessa had this sign made for the Bridal Shower. It is currently on the Closet doors! I'm trying to think of a cuter place

I am very proud of our bathroom! it may not look cute in the picture but it really is! i love the curtain and towels!!! come check it out to believe me!!!

Our Front room consists of furniture from family! thanks guys.

This is our SUPER TINY KITCHEN!! we had a little burning of a quesadilla in the oven and made the smoke alarms go off.. I blame Winston.

This is our shelf.. it's loaded with books! i figure it makes our neighbor's think we are exceptionally intelligent.

We got there "sticker words" from Target with gift cards as well! It's a nice... home-ie touch to a brick wall.. don't you think?

We got this picture of a cafe at Bed Bath and Beyond with a gift card. it ended up costing us about .37 cents!!

Let me know if you have any fun and easy Halloween decorating ideas!

the BIG day

This is a bit delayed... I totally forgot about my blog!
Here are some pictures from the wedding :)

Reception Location

The Reception Location

My Goal is to avoid using a church building but find a place that is beautiful and a low price. SO if you know of any places PRETTY PLEASE post it on my blog!

Fox Hollow Club House

I really LOVE this place. there is a beautiful pond outside that has fun lighting at night. you can have the reception inside and outside.

The only downside is the cost... 1,200 on weekdays 1,500 on weekends

Ivory Ridge Banquet Room

This is my second favorite spot. I really love the balcony, patio, and grass area. The price is $600 for the whole day.

The only downside is that the room only seats 70.

In Provo Canyon

This would be so beautiful and fun!

The major downside is the dependence on the weather.

The Planning BEGINS!

Sunday night I was a little overwhelmed with all of the planning that is needed.

Candace helped me out and got me started in organizing.

We found a notebook and made a page for each important thing to plan and choose a date to have it done by.

I'll start posting my plans after i get some sleep! i just did a grave yard shift!

Engaged!!!

The Engagement

On Friday (May 20th) Winston took me to the tree room up at Sundance. It was the best food I've ever had and the fanciest restaurant I've ever been to! after dinner we slow danced overlooking the mountains. Then he had his roommate surprise us when we were in down town Provo and he played some romantic guitar music for us. then we went to our favorite bridge overlooking the BYU campus and he knelt down on one KNEE to tie his shoes... and didn't purpose but he read a poem he wrote for me.

Saturday (May 21st) morning he threw pebbles at my window to make me up because my alarm didn't go off, my phone was on silent, and i didn't hear him ring the doorbell! We went a motorcycle ride to Rock Canyon and a very short hike to watch the sunrise. He had me close my eyes and when i opened it there was a blanket with rose peatals that spelled out "will you marry me" and then he got down on his knee and asked me. and we watched the sunrise! it was perfect!!

On the way back to our apartments, His motorcycle ran out of gas!! so we had fun coasting back to Raintree :)
